About Us

Wayfarer Aussies is located in historic Wethersfield, Connecticut. We are first and foremost a loving home, and then a show home. In other words, our Aussies are our pets that we show, not show prospects that are treated like boarders.

In addition to our Aussies, my wife shows and breeds Havanese under the name Wayfarer Havanese. The Aussies and the Havs get along fine, and as the Havs have shown some herding instinct, it is often interesting to see who is trying to herd whom when they are all out in the yard.

My ancestors were Sea Captains who made their living on the sea, and because of that I have a fondness for all things nautical. Thus, the ship in the web page banner.
